At his ordination in December 2003, Dean Williams, the leader of the Jijuyu-ji Zen Group of Cleveland, chose a new name for the group in honor of a particular Zen sutra which holds special meaning for him, the Jijuyu Zammai (or "Self-fullfilling Samadhi") sutra written by the founder of the Soto Zen sect, Eihei Dogen Zenji.
